I just took 6 shots in a row.

My cousin Leith introduced us to a friend of his named Bruce, and Bruce well he's taken us to come pretty terrific spots, so last night we put our trust in Bruce once again and HE NEVER FAILED.

We started off our adventure in Cape Town the city, down at waterfront. We went to the Grand Beach restaurant which is actually on a beach... this being said, I got sand in my boots and that just drove me nuts because now my feet are dirty, and if you know me I am obsessed with my feet being clean, but its okay guys I pulled through... only because I had a couple.

 Outside Grand Beach

No one was interested in my Selfie. RUDE. (not even NIKKI)

We sat in this tug boat over looking the ocean

Now here comes this weird huge disco ball just chilling on the sand

As Leith and I are walking to the bathroom, Leith goes "jump on the lion"
UM YA WHY WOULDN'T I. That is until the little man in the corner comes screaming "NOOOO!!!!" (apparently this is art not to be ridden on). To late bud pictures already been taken.

We then decided to move along to their party strip, similar to what we call Granville Street
At each bar we went to it was mandatory to take a shot of Tequila. Oh boy here we go.

We entered a few really good bars, one with 130 different types of beer (to bad it was straight up tequila night) another was in a mall you had to go into to get there. We came across this little side bar cafe with this awesome band playing in it; I think that one was one of my favorites. BECAUSE I heard a Missy Elliot song coming from a club across the rode and literally ran screaming YES.  I love throwbacks. We where in there for not to long because it wasn't really "safe" for us to be in there as we where getting stared down left right at center.

The Band that I loved

You wish you were us

WE ARE IN SOUTH AFRICA BITCHES!!!!

The beauty that astounds my soul lies within these oceans

There is never enough to describe how amazing it feels to turn a corner and be blown away by Blue Ocean, where the dark blue meets the light all awhile the waves crash into each other making you think that life isn't even real. Because really, its not. I wish this was my everyday life and that’s why I have to grasp every feeling and thought and hold on to it for as long as I can because

 moments do not last forever.

Being in South Africa and the 2-week adventure that has only entailed me has been quite and eye opener, I have visited beaches and places only one can think of in a storybook, good and bad. South Africa in itself is amazingly gorgeous and I wish you could feel what I feel when the waves crash in around my legs and the Atlantic Ocean hits my body and that cold hit rushes up your skin and your like OWWWWWWWWW THAT SHITS COLD!!!!! hahaha.

Here is a couple snap shots that I have not uploaded

It begins where you decide it begins

My BAE (bacon and eggs) and Me

Our last day together <3

Extras

Leith took us to Noordhoek beach last week and I saw this beautiful couple up on a rock and thought THESE PEOPLE SERIOUSLY NEED TO CAPTURE THIS MOMENT
It was truly beautiful, the waves where crashing around them as they were staring off into the ocean.
I ran up to them and asked if I could take a picture and send them this photo via email!

Four & Twenty

MY FAVOURITE BREAKFAST PLACE
IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD

Ya you herd me, your business sucks compared to this place.

So it’s called Four & Twenty, think they’re hinting at something? I guess one will never know and I'm to shit scared to ask and Derek will probably go red from embarrassment.
SORRY. Not sorry.

Entering a cute little cafe and pastry styled shop with white tables and pink accents I was like HELLO I WANNA BE A PRINCESS and sit in that big pink chair, unfortunately Derek said there was no way he was waiting for them to be done their breakfast so I could sit in a pink chair. Typical males never see the importance in a PINK CHAIR. This wasn't any pink chair this was like a Princess pink chair; do you get my drift yet?

Ok I actually just spent 5 minutes googling this pink chair, it's not the best but it gives you a better picture of my infatuation

SO THANKS GOOGLE.

We were sat at the bar window facing the street with a beautiful park across the way. Our waiter has far been the best we have had in South Africa. He greeted us with a warm and friendly vibe and I was immediately taken by his charm. This character knows what he's doing. I was wearing my new MK watch that Nikki and I both splurged on, he asked if we could trade as he chuckled away. I nearly ripped it off and gave it to him, I liked him so much haha. He recommended both dishes that Derek and I both got. I had the BEST eggs benny anyone would only dream of savouring in their mouth.

EGGS BELICIOUS
Two Free-range Poached Eggs, Hollandaise & Confit Baby Tomatoes
served on Ciabatta toast with Crispy Bacon

BREAKFAST TARTINE
Griddled Brioche Toast with Truffled Butter and Local Brie, piled with buttery Pan-Fried Foraged Porcini, topped with a poached egg and tender baby spinach, served with sliced Avo and a tangy Tomato and Currant Relish

So all in all our experience was 100% awesome and I definitely recommend checking this place out even if you just want to take a quick plane ride from Vancouver to South Africa.
I mean no big deal.

Derek just being fantastic
A cool little plant, I have no idea what it is

How many times can you look at the ocean and get sick of it?
NEVER.

Literally each day goes sooooooo slow, it could either be the fact that I wake up at 6 am everyday or that I no longer have the stress or go go go rush of my life in Canada. Its actually quite peaceful. I wake up, I eat... (I think I've gained weight) and then I pack my books and a little bit of money and I follow my driver Derek where ever the road may take us... lol I am still learning to drive on the other side of the road... okay I haven't really put much into learning.

Yesterday was the day after the wedding and I literally had to force myself to get out of bed, Derek hating every single moment. We went down to this food and trinket market in an old biscuit factory

The food there was OUTSTANDING, I had this pork belly sandwich on this fresh chibatta bun I literally wolfed it down I wanted more and more. I then tried a Rooibus ice tea. CANADA WE NEED THIS IS OUR LIVES. It has fresh mint and lemons in it and I swear to God my body was in heaven at each sip. My little niece Greer couldn't get enough either.

We took a little ganter on the boardwalk down in Kalk Bay
I swear this seal is not dead hes just chillin
 SHARK!!
 My new ride.

Outside Muzienberg
I literally sat in here for 20 minutes without getting served. I WAS PISSED.
 My first South African Bar
A little lunch at this jungle restaurant

The BEST Moj-ito (that's for you steph and katie) EVER.
